VTS offers many different brands of code compliant door protection. The Door Protection is known by many names but it’s function is to prevent the elevator doors from closing on a passenger entering or exiting the elevator. Most devices use a series of light rays or 3D eye sensors to detect movement providing rider protection.This device is mounted on the car door and is a highly active mechanism on your elevator, which is required by code.
